“Wind” by Horatio Perry

Horatio Perry (age 7)

WIND

It’s what makes the spiders tremble.
It’s what makes the deer nimble.
It’s what makes our chins so cold.
It’s what makes the nights so bold.
It’s what makes the flowers shake.
It’s what makes the farmer rake.
It’s what makes the leaves fall down
and land so gently on the ground.
