“Standing Naked” by Charles P. Ries

Charles P. Ries

STANDING NAKED

I stand naked. I let everyone look into me.
My heart and mind are now open for inspection.

It’s good to be exposed, revealing secrets, so
words need not carry them. Revealing inner paths
so others can follow them in and down and out my
subterranean heart.

We should all stand and be revealed and naked.
Naked to truths and secrets. Naked before a curtain
of spring rain.
