SEASONS

The wind blows.
The sun shines.
The grass breathes.

Fish slide in the night, calmly.

The rose has a petal.
A stem has no petal.

In the fall
the leaves fall down.
The wind blows.

Cars drive in
the night.
Lights sparkle,
flash in the moonlight.

Why do you like to write poetry?

Raya Gottesfeld: “I like to write poetry because it’s fun and imaginative. My favorite part is when the piece of paper is blank because then I get to think.”
